Had a awesome lunch/ dinner. We sat in the patio as I had my dog Sammy with me. As soon as we were seated Sammy was brought a fresh bowl of water !!! Our server Daniel was awesome. I had my favorite fish n chips. The fish a light breading is so delicious no tartar sauce can enhance it. Sammy got his own meal for a moderate price. His serving was so large he didn't finish it and had to get a doggy bag.

Thank you thank you thank you for serving your community. Anthonys wait staff are the best, excellent service and good food. Been coming here for 30 years and have enjoyed the food and duck pound and feeding the ducks as well as bringing my kids there to do the same. Please support this restaurant and its employees and come check them out.

We had dinner here twice during a recent stay in La Mesa and it was terrific. Quite busy but great Covid protocols in effect. We ate around 5:15 PM on a Wednesday and a Friday and even though there were a lot of customers there we were seated outside along the lake immediately. Great variety of choices for dinner and they were all plentiful and very tasty. Service was also fantastic. We highly recommend Anthony's.

Well went to try the SD favorite of se food restaurants. I used to go to the one on the harbor, and the one in Chula Vista. Still a great one, and the last in SD , in La Mesa. The outdoor seating is awesome and never knew there was a small pond behind the restaurant . The sound of fountain a great sound while we're we eating. Please give one of SD Standards a chance.

Lunch was delicious very fresh and perfectly cooked. Seating around The lake was very relaxing listening to the water watching the little duckies exactly what we needed on this hot day I had the soup and salad combo fisherman Soup And a petite wedge salad the soup came in a sourdough bread bowl. My only complaint was that I like brothy soup and this was a little thick for me. The flavor was great.
